The truth about White Gold color
Natural White Gold actually has a slightly yellowish or grayish tone, depending on the metal alloy; it is not the bright white we see in common diamond rings.
The bright, shiny white appearance we see is caused by Rhodium plating (a metal in the platinum family) on the surface to achieve that beautiful, lustrous white finish. Over time, this plating can gradually fade, requiring periodic re-plating.
Multiple gold color options
Jewelry plating comes in several tones, including White Gold, Yellow Gold, and Pink Gold. Each offers a different look, allowing you to choose based on your style and skin tone.

For our Pink Gold, we use Pink Gold alloy right from the casting stage rather than color plating. Because the color comes directly from the metal itself, it is more durable and natural, will not peel or turn black, and can be worn for a long time without worrying about the color fading.

If you love the white tone of White Gold but are concerned about having to periodically re-plate it with Rhodium, we recommend a Platinum setting. Since the metal is naturally white, it requires no extra plating, does not peel, and is long-lasting. Note that Platinum is heavier than standard gold, offering a particularly solid feel.
